| Summer Continues
Just got back from Fowler family vacation and though it was a long drive the weather was gorgeous. So nice to escape the heat and humidity of NOVA. Summer is going by so fast. Trying my hardest to not think about work and I'm going enjoy the three weeks I have left with the girls. Eva is growing up fast and learns so much( good and bad) from Ella. She loves the pool and enjoys keeping us on our toes. The girls loves to jump off the sides and doesn't seem to mind that we put her underwater. Ella is a great help and an awesome big sister. We have picked up the violin again and though I know I can be pretty tough on her she is doing great and is still willing to listen, which means I must not be scaring her off. She is on her third song in Suzuki and actually playing without tapes. I'm very impressed, mainly because she has finally realized that it's okay to make a mistake and she doesn't need to start all over all the time. That she can adjust as she plays and that we learn through our mistakes. This was the big learned lesson of the summer.
Eva's new words, though not completely clear are the following:
Shoes
Haaa= Hat- loves wearing a hat if I have one
Teeth- knows that its time to brush them at night
Nite-nite
Poop- when waking up from naps she tells me if something has happened
Han= Hand- reaches for mine when we are walking
Poo= Pool
Elmo- knows that she can see him on the laptop
Bubu= Buddy
LaLa= Ella, this is my favorite
While on vacation she learned to hum Twinkle, its very cute and such an eye opener to realize how much music is part of this family. She sings with Ella when she does and it's just very sweet. I totally give music the credit for teaching Ella to speak because I distinctly remember her singing words before she spoke.

How did I know that my husband was the one for me? I sometimes have a hard time explaining this, but for me it cam down to having a sense that I was going to be alright in my life. Being with Chris gave me confidence. I cam across this quote that sums up how I knew he was the one for me. “Someday you’ll find the right person, and you’ll learn to have a lot more confidence in yourself. That’s what I think. So don’t settle for anything less. In this world, there are things you can only do alone, and things you can only do with somebody else. It’s important to combine the two in just the right amount.” - Haruki Murakami
