How I knew

How did I know that my husband was the one for me? I sometimes have a hard time explaining this, but for me it cam down to having a sense that I was going to be alright in my life. Being with Chris gave me confidence. I cam across this quote that sums up how I knew he was the one for me.

“Someday you’ll find the right person, and you’ll learn to have a lot more confidence in yourself. That’s what I think. So don’t settle for anything less. In this world, there are things you can only do alone, and things you can only do with somebody else. It’s important to combine the two in just the right amount.”

Morning thoughts

I love them Spring is coming, so they say. Yesterday after school we were able to enjoy the creek and playground till it was dinner time. The joys of being able to make the day pass while being outdoors. I can't wait. This morning Eva got a little outdoor time before the rain came,  and Ella hummed along to some Neill Young. It reminded me so much of my husband because whenever I say "Things are great."  He always chimes in that the best is still yet to come. I wonder what's to come?

Ella got on her Skut and I put Eva in the backpack and we walked to an open field, I pulled chocolate chip cookies and that's when Ella asked me if I wanted to daydream with her. Which meant looking at the...
